integral or clinically?
To your question, Kathy:
integral Kunstherapeut is a campus-specific name. I have understood that the body is used because the training at various campus therapeutic approaches and methods, and can also "integrated". mediate Unlike some other institutions, for example, only analytical KT (ie depth psychology-oriented, in this approach picture interpretation). Integral art therapist is not a formal job title and ultimately says nothing about the job opportunities from a legal point of view.
Clinical art therapist, however, is a common job title for art therapists who have the training to work with patients. For this purpose, one must either have additional admission to the practice of medicine (medical practitioners) or as part of a hospital stay the patient work exclusively on medical advice. To get on the campus of the additive Clinical KT, further conditions to be met, for example, more training hours.
basic rule: You can only clinically as KT in private practice, so work with the sick, if you have the HP certification. Otherwise, you can only accompany or advise. On Campus is the name of its conclusion without HP "integral art teacher."

From Christmas 2010 (pre-Christmas) Stress to silence
All years back me and probably many other people of the stress before Christmas once again caught up. Every year I resolve that next year a quiet and contemplative should be. Unfortunately, this work will never push ............ here's a date in between, there is still a meeting, many emails and requests to be processed. My calendar shows long ago in the second half of 2011, and mentally I am already planning my travel seminar in the fall of next year.
In one of my seminars last week one of the themes stress and how can we "IT" back with the help of essential oils for body and help us to well-being and comfort as to fragrance lamps, body oils and relaxing baths.
essential oils to balance and relax in the Christmas stress
Mandarin ro t (Citrus reticulata) => contains methyl anthranilate (aromatic ester) and therefore has a strong anticonvulsant and relaxing, an absolute RELEASE oil, plus also a very effective essential oil
basil (Ocimum basilicum) => Emperor is Greek and means "king". A great relaxing "ROYAL" herb, which has a strong relaxing effect on stress and headaches.
Benzoin Siam (Styrax tonkinesis) => this is the resin of the Benzoebaumes be vanilla, sweet soft scent conveys security and casts a protective jacket us. The high proportion (60%), benzyl benzoate (aromatic ester) promotes the secretion of serotonin and endorphins.
bergamot (Citrus bergamia) => also called lavender in the citrus oils, it contains a citrus peel oil unusually large number of esters (up to 60%) and is therefore one of the balancing, relaxing and mood uplifting essential oils. Especially in the dark time for me, one of the main flavors.
Orange / Blood Orange (Citrus sinensis) => balancing, gently stimulating to do without waking
Petitgrain (Citrus aurantium) => my favorite is the Petit Grain from the Mandarin, and here again we have the difficult to pronounce Methyl aromatic esters. Smallest traces of it enough to dangle our soul.
vanilla extract (vanilla plantifolia) => the scent reminiscent of childhood well-being and security. Baby's smell of vanilla, even baby-dolls are scented with vanilla-like fragrance. The ingredient vanillin, the human nose even still perform at a dilution of 0.0000000002 mg per liter of air.
Chamomile Roman (Anthemis nobilis) => chamomile for the wounded soul, balancing, relaxing, aggression potential downward (in the pre-Christmas hustle and bustle in the shops may be quite helpful ;-)
L baskets (Laurus nobilis) => creates the scent even in moments of extreme stress clarity. It helps us to take a look at the essentials and to act appropriately and with new strength.
frankincense (Boswellia sacra) => calms the nerves, relaxed and accompanied recollection, it picks us up from the hectic everyday life and opens our mind for the essentials.
Different ways to relax:
3 drops bergamot
3 drops petitgrain Mandarinier
4 drops Tonka

It's not discuss about whether the glass is half full or half empty.
The point is to refill the glass when it is empty.

Deer Dropping Antlers
Frauenmalgruppe
Yesterday was another fantastic evening in all my painting group. It was the last night * - and therefore there was a very special mission: A group photo!
I have interpreted the large painting table with brown paper, which resulted in a painting area of 2.70 x 1.60 m. Each of the participants could choose 2 colors, which should not be used twice, ie each of us had their own colors (and can recognize so in the end its interest in the picture). And finally, to gaze out of paper. Otherwise: No rules!
theme of the picture: the underwater world.
The first came in great doubt, how will we get this area only way? I can not fish! What should I paint it? There is no purple fish! Can I paint purely for the others? I have to paint at one point? I ran it not come! It looks so out of stupid that I can not paint, ..... definitely no fish (It was slightly better than I have proclaimed that it is now a "blasphemous cash amounts are: who says a bad Andre, pays 1 € - who says bad things about themselves, 2 € From that conclusion was. whine.)
But after a short time, each was with great zeal. The doubts vanished, it was painted, they were worth, and many beautiful designs created in the community. Team building, called the new German well.
It was not the last evening. Although he was the 6-course around now, but all have extended for another 6 nights. They need to be pleasing have. :-) :-) :-)

Does Anyone Have A Layaway
lavender - not only promotes sleep .....
"Once again, lavender, although many are now thinking. Now, the essential oil of lavender is truly amazing how I could say today night again!!
My daughter (18) was last night with a very strange cough awake. She coughed and gasped really terrible, even though she fell asleep without any signs of a cold. The cough sounded very spastic. I had nothing to hand out lavender oil (Lavandula angustifolia). I offered her the chest rub with olive oil and a few drops of lavender, but as the young girls so she was afraid that her new T-shirt gets grease stains. So I rubbed just three drops of pure lavender on her breast. Is it just minutes later she is calm again and fell asleep without a cough and wheeze.
linalyl acetate in oil Lavandula angustifolia is an ester and has an antispasmodic, tonic and calming effect. Especially the smooth muscles, such as benefit the bronchi, gastrointestinal and uterine this effect.

hypertension - Cocoa protects!
Swedish researchers have been able to demonstrate the effect of cocoa on the enzyme ACE. They came to the conclusion that cocoa protects hypertension and other cardiovascular diseases - certain drugs inhibit the enzyme ACE, which is involved in the increase in blood pressure. The survey results are currently published in the journal "Journal of Cardiovascular Pharmacology.
16 study participants aged 20 to 45 years two weeks were allowed to take any medication and many do not consume any tobacco. In the last two days they refused even to chocolate, coffee, tea and wine.
After the subjects consumed 75 grams of dark chocolate with a cocoa content of 72%. In the analysis of the accompanying blood samples, the researchers found that three hours was sweet after the meal significantly inhibited the enzyme ACE.
"Our research shows that certain foods contain which substances such as catechin and Procyanide to help prevent cardiovascular disease," says study leader Ingrid Persson.
The researchers had already shown in another study that green tea is rich in catechin and Procyaniden, ACE inhibitor. Since the active compounds in cocoa are used in these products, they also suspected an effect of chocolate on blood pressure enzyme.

Sign the petition: Many essential oils are usually classified from 1.4.2011 as drugs
How do I was appalled at reading with Eliane's Blog is probably intended in April 2011, the abolition of many herbal medicines.

This amendment will most benefit the big drug companies, but many doctors and health practitioners and aromatherapy practitioners is hereby simply dig the water!
How do I was appalled at reading with Eliane's Blog is probably intended in April 2011, the abolition of many herbal medicines.
the bill can be read when 2004/24/EC enters into its search engine.
Therefore, until 11 November many people as possible to sign this petition . With a simple registration on the website of the German Bundestag, this is easily possible online.text of the petition, the German Bundestag may decide
... that the ban on the sale of medicinal plants in the EU
from 1 April 2011 in Germany does not.
According to European Directive on the use of traditional and herbal medical products (THMPD) the sale and use of natural products is limited.
justification
It is a directive of the EU to harmonize the approval procedure for traditional herbal preparations that are used medicinally. Thus, natural products are misdeclared to medical products that need to be approved. In all EU countries it will be eventually banned medicinal herbs and plants for sale that have no license.
natural products, which are ascribed a healing effect will no longer be classified as food but as medicine. Only what you can patent and monopolize a trade mark in trade is desirable. What grows in nature is simply illegal.
our health is not protected by it but the sales and profits of large corporations secured. We should decide for themselves what is good for us and what resources we take, whether chemical bombs or gentle natural remedy.
This experience also facilitate health insurance because more and more people go to buy
natural products without a prescription slip.
This amendment will most benefit the big drug companies, but many doctors and health practitioners and aromatherapy practitioners is hereby simply dig the water!

Pickup Spots In Lubbock Tx
on seminar tour - Essential oils in the hotel
Since last week I found myself on seminar trips, with only a few stops at home to the bag off and pack up. This will probably drag on until Christmas.
This week I'm in Teltow, then I will get closer than 70 nursing assistants, the aroma care in a core course.
contents of the first day of the course:
as often as you asked me, what are now major oil? For me there is in working with dementia patients following oils can be applied to diverse and often:
5 ml Lavender
5 drops Chamomile Roman
10 drops mandarin
this mix is for the air care, and suitable to produce a calming, anti-anxiety body oil or bath additive. For a body oil add 10 drops of this mixture to 50 ml of base oil or 10 drops of this mixture to a half cup of cream emulsified for a full bath.
After two days seminar with nearly 30 student (s) and still play the next day with over 20 participants (s) has my vote but suffered much, my neck and I need to clear my throat constantly. Therefore, I gargle after a hard day with a throat like linalool mixture of bergamot, Manuka and thyme.
This week I had the good fortune to have found a beautiful hotel and can enjoy the luxury of a bathtub. From the long drive my shoulder and neck area is still very tense, so I do not begrudge me this evening with a relaxing bath Lavender, and marjoram cajeput.
The beautiful side effect of this mixture is that it is not only soothing and relaxing, but also promotes sleep.

Angel Cards by Diana Cooper
Yesterday I made with my ladies a more demanding exercise. Each of them was an angel-card draw, they will read silently for themselves and deal with the content. You should try to establish a connection to the embassy and to gaze, to what extent it applies to them or their life situation. Then the message should be implemented in the image.
I was amazed at how easy it is to have done five with the exercise. I feared that this still very abstract task for "lay people" is too heavy. Far from it! It was fantastic to watch, at which concentration - almost devotion - the women took their message on paper.
The image review in the connection (which then was allowed to read all your card) showed that some of you the angel's message was perfect and they therefore had no trouble expressing them picturesque. For each of us - me included! - A very touching experience.
has very much got me some feedback: "After our painting group on Wednesday they slap me for 2 days very well." :-)
